The long game

More cause for celebration in the office as we have successfully over turned a planning refusal from Torridge District council through the appeal process under section 78 of the Town and Country planning act – the planning inspectorate subsequently found the application to accord with current local and national planning policy and allowed the appeal with granting of Planning permission for the erection of a detached dwelling.

The granting of permission will allow the construction of a detached family home of traditional form within the village of Bridgerule, Devon. RA Rowe prepared the initial design concept and detailed planning drawings for submission to the local authority and post refusal, prepared the appeal statement and documentation for submission of appeal to The Planning Inspectorate which was ultimately successful.

It has been a long process but we, together with our client are over joyed with the outcome allowing a much needed family home to be constructed within the village! – Watch our Instagram feed for updates once site works commence.
