The design brief was to develop a large scale family dwelling of 3 Bedroom formation, with large open spaces to suit modern living. The site is located on the outskirts of the village and has superb views to the rear over the rolling rural landscape.

 

The design uses both traditional and contemporary materials with a natural slate roof covering and areas of distinctive horizontal boarding, broken with areas of rendered panels to provide a visually striking and modern appearance to the dwelling.

 

The completed build is finished to a superb and very high standard throughout, with high quality large glazed openings at the rear to allow the outside space in. Slate kitchen worktops and flooring further add to the emphasis of quality throughout the interior.
