The project entailed the complete refurbishment internally and externally together with extension and re-roofing works to this detached split-level property in Bude, Cornwall.

 

Works included designs for an additional bedroom, incorporation of rooflights to provide a greater sense of light and space to the landing upon entering the property with a new vaulted ceiling and internal works to provide a more suitable dwelling layout together with a replacement oak staircase. The front Bedroom and ensuite extension are designed with a cantilevered corner to ensure off road parking could be maintained.

 

The design incorporated carefully chosen materials to provide a fresh and contemporary appearance to this tired looking property including natural slate, galvanized guttering, Cedar boarding and Grey windows and doors.

 

R A Rowe prepared the measured survey works, design concepts and statutory planning and building regulations consents. We also prepared a detailed specification of works for the construction phase with works being carried out and completed to an exceptional standard by Bude Construction Ltd!
