After an unsuccessful planning history this site presented a challenging brief from a planning perspective. Applications had been made for many years on this site without success, we felt that there had been some fundamental changes to the site and street scene since the refusals and this informed our design proposals which gained the required approval.

The design picks up on the stunning rural views and the arrangement of the spaces makes the house feel spacious even with its small footprint. The front elevation ties in with the existing street scene while the rear view has a more contemporary feel.
