ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Nestled within the picturesque parish of Bridgerule, the Wedding Barn stands amidst a cluster of listed buildings, including the charming Glebe House Cottages. Embraced by six acres of grounds including mature gardens, private swimming pool, and serene woodlands, Glebe House offers an exclusive venue.

Glebe House is a family-operated wedding venue, which will be complemented by the addition of a bespoke wedding barn. From conceptualization to on-site supervision, we collaborated closely with our clients to realize their vision. Securing Planning and Listed Building consents, our design ethos was rooted in honouring the historical context, seamlessly integrating the new structure with the existing landscape.

The wedding barn showcases a magnificent Oak frame, gracefully forming an L-shaped layout. A welcoming courtyard, adorned with a striking gabled porch, sets the stage for a memorable entrance. Reflecting the natural flow of a wedding day, the layout comprises two wings connected by a central link. One wing hosts the ceremony space, while the other serves as a versatile reception area, enveloping guests in a harmonious blend of heritage architecture and modern elegance.

Externally, the barn's form and materials harmonize with the surroundings, providing an enchanting backdrop for wedding festivities. Internally, the focus shifts to the impressive exposed oak frame, infusing the space with a sense of grandeur. Designed to captivate, the interior sets the stage for unforgettable moments, ensuring that each wedding celebration at Glebe House is imbued with timeless charm and sophistication.
