We were instructed in the complete restoration and modernisation of a set of disused agricultural barns near to Widemouth, Cornwall.

The intention was to sympathetically restore the existing barns, making best use of the existing openings and creating a feeling of space throughout. The existing stone work and roof trusses were kept intact where possible and left exposed to highlight the wonderful historical features of the buildings.

By striking a sympathetic balance between the traditional and modern materials we were able to work together with our clients to create a stunning set of residential barns.
